The second full album release from Cue, titled "A Thousand Shards of Sun", contains 25 tracks spanning a wide variety of genres, length and moods. Like Cue's first album, "Layers", each track was crafted with commercial licensing in mind and each track has a distinct theme or target mood. However, unlike "Layers", this second album consists of electronic and live drums and percussion, in addition to high-energy rock and electronic music. The album was skillfully mixed and mastered by Taylor Barefoot (The Halogens, Casey Desmond) of Barefoot Productions in Allston, MA - who, in addition, recorded drum kit, additional percussion and electric guitars.
