Truth, Love & Understanding

“Truth, Love & Understanding” are the foundation upon which the marriage of singer/songwriter Amanda West and multi-instrumentalist/producer Pete Solomon is based. The two musical artists wrote, recorded and produced this album in celebration of their wedding in 2010, and the songs and music have since been used by many others for their own wedding ceremonies.
Textured melodies offer an exquisite blend of guitar, piano, banjo, vocals and percussion while lyrical themes circle desire, commitment, and blissful love.
The second track, "Before I Came Along", features the brothers of the Santa Fe based folk orchestra, Round Mountain: Char Rothschild on accordion and Robby Rothschild on Kora (West African harp).
The third track "Togetherness" is inspired by Khalil Gibran's writings on marriage from his work, "The Prophet".
