The Time Has Come (2003) is the debut album from Iowa State's most anticipated Hip-Hop group J Trey. The album features 15 hot songs boasting the singles "Welcome To The I" (featuring Bullet) and "Drift Away" a remake of the 1973 classic rock song from Dobie Gray. The record features tracks from up and coming producers Big Ice & Oral Bee (The Playboy Foundation) and Seenic. The album is home to underground favorites "Feelin You" (feat. Kameil Madison), "At Times" , and "It's My World". The J Trey debut is setting a new standard, raising the bar of expectation in Iowa's underground Hip-Hop community. "The Time Has Come" is only a preview of what's to come from this rising Midwest Trio. The Iowa Hip-Hop Movement begins February 11th, 2003.
